The infrastructure and information at the diving points of the Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia are being upgraded, according to an announcement by the Municipality.
As it is noted, “in collaboration with the Department of Fisheries, the Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia has started the upgrade of the information signs in the areas of artificial reefs, enhancing the visibility and accessibility of the diving points of interest in the area”.
At the same time, “the creation of an innovative and useful guide for diving tourism is in progress, which will include all the diving points of the Municipality as well as detailed information on diving activity in the wider area.
This guide will be an important tool for professionals and visitors, highlighting the Municipality as an attractive diving destination”.
In addition, it is noted, “the Municipality is proceeding with the preparation of a study for the gradual upgrade of access to the diving sites, as well as for the creation of new, modern and elegant information signs”.
The Mayor of Paralimni-Deryneia, Giorgos Nikolettos, said that “the aim of all these interventions is to upgrade the visitor experience, support special tourism and promote the area as a model diving tourist destination in the Eastern Mediterranean”.
